I am running for County Commissioner 2C because I possess the experience needed to help our county during this time of growth. We know growth is coming and is already upon us. How we manage the development and growth will be critical to all county citizens.
I have experience in zoning and economic planning, having served on zoning and planning committees in Statesboro and Ohio.
I am a strong supporter of public safety. In my career, I have worked with several public safety organizations throughout the Unites States, as well as national organizations.
As our county grows, additional pressure will be placed on the sheriff, fire, and EMS departments needed to serve our county. The growth also comes with additional expenses. We need to be smart as commissioners on how to allocate and meet those needs.

With the major changes and growth coming to Bulloch County, we need proven leadership that has experience in economic growth and planning, managing critical issues, such as water use and taxes as well as public safety services, that will need to increase as the county grows. WE need elected officials that will listen and try to understand the concerns of the citizens of Bulloch County.
The major mandate is the growth of the county and the infrastructure to handle that growth, including road, water and public safety.
I like to gather information from the subject matter experts and then talk to people who will be affected by the decision.
I am a person that will listen to the people of the county and try to understand their points of view. I know we are not going to agree on everything, but those discussions must be in an open and carrying matter. To often now, people harbor contempt in disagreements. We need to work together for a common goal, building a better Bulloch County, which is done through transparency and open communication.
